Android POS Device Setup
Before You Start
Make sure you have the following:
Stable internet connection (Wi‑Fi)
Google account (for Play Store access)
POS APK file (latest version)
Printer and cash drawer available for testing
1️ Update Software
Go to Settings > Software Update (or About Device > System Update).
Check for available updates.
Install updates if any are found.
Restart the device after updating.
⚠️ Always update first to avoid compatibility issues later.
Open AnyDesk and note the AnyDesk ID (for remote support use).
3 Install Wallpaper (POS Branding)
Download or copy the approved wallpaper image.
Go to Settings > Display > Wallpaper.
Set the wallpaper for Home Screen (and Lock Screen if needed).
🎨 This keeps the device looking clean and branded.
4 Install POS APK
Copy the POS APK file to the device (USB / download link / file manager).
Go to Settings > Security.
Enable Install unknown apps (allow from File Manager/Browser).
Open the APK file and tap Install.
Launch the POS app after installation.
5 Install RawBT (Printer Service)
Search for RawBT Print Service.
Open RawBT and ensure the printer is detected/connected.
🖨️ RawBT is required for thermal printer integration.
6 Install Quick Printer (If Needed)
This step is optional and only required for specific printer models.
Download Quick Printer from the Play Store or provided APK.
Configure printer settings based on the printer type (USB/Bluetooth/LAN).
7 Testing (Very Important ✅)
Perform the following tests:
POS Application
Create a sample transaction
Verify receipt format and alignment
Trigger cash drawer open via POS
Test manual key if available
